My heart for gardening and farming started as a little girl. From the age of three, my grandparents taught me about organic pest control, fertilizing techniques (from my pony’s manure) and sustainable plant and crop management.

Grow forward a few decades  — now, as a millennial managing editor at Renovated Magazine and editor-in-chief at TLG, I have over a decade’s experience writing about urban community gardens and small space landscaping.

From the love of all things gardening and my extended family’s background in construction, I cover topics ranging from hardscaping, softscaping, better building and sustainable resource management.
